Shaq has to defend his IcyHot sponsorship live on NBA on TNT
Shaquille O’Neal was not having any of that Danny Green IcyHot slander nonsense over the air.
Danny Green may hate his nickname, but Shaquille O’Neal was not about to let him rip one of the many products he endorses over the air. Of course, we are talking about IcyHot.
Green spoke with the fellas after the Philadelphia 76ers‘ Game 4 win over the Miami Heat to even the Eastern Conference Semifinals series up at two games apiece. Shaq’s NBA on TNT co-host Ernie Johnson made the “mistake” to mention over the air Green’s nickname that he hates: IcyHot. As expected, Shaq defended IcyHot like he did the paint when he was with the Los Angeles Lakers.
In his very core, Shaq is, and always will be, a business, man. There will be no IcyHot slander here!
Shaq will not tolerate any of Danny Green’s uncalled for IcyHot slander
The last time Shaq got this upset, he lost to Aaron Carter in a game of one-on-one. Somehow, someway, losing to one of The Backstreet Boys’ kid bros was worse than missing out on The 1992 Dream Team in favor of Christian Laettener. Everyone hates Duke, even Shaq! Believe it or not, he is one of us. As far as nicknames are concerned, it could be much worse for “IcyHot” Green.
Green could go by Copper Fit, DonJoy or The Chuckster’s favorite, Anthony “Street Clothes” Davis. Despite being a total knucklehead, Chuck is not wrong. He may not be a role model, but he is not wrong! The only person more wrong is Rudy Gobert thinking he could channel his inner-Aaron Carter and guard Shaq. Is it a prerequisite to be wrong if you play for the Jazz? Come and get it!
Let’s be real. IcyHot has come in the clutch on many occasions in our mediocre-to-dead sports lives. When my right elbow was in worse shape than Sandy Koufax’s left, it doused that bad boy in enough IcyHot to stop the crying. So if you feel like venturing into the wonderful world of IcyHot recovery, never put it on your face. You are not Pat McAfee testing out some CBD on radio row.
